The famous Bermondsey Beer Mile and Millwall Football Club are both notorious in the area. However, there is much more to explore including several excellent foodie markets. Add in the Thames views and you are on to a winner.
bermondsey Beer Mile
Here is the Bermondsey Beer Mile Map. Follow it or select a couple of the breweries to visit.
Fourpure Brewing Company (22 Bermondsey Trading Estate, Rotherhithe New Road, SE16 3LL) | Partizan Brewing Company (8 Almond Road,South Bermondsey, SE16 3LR) | Brew by Numbers (79 Enid Street, SE16 3RA) | UBREW (29 Old Jamaica Business Estate, 24 Old Jamaica Rd, SE16 4AW) | The Bottle Shop (128 Druid Street, SE1 2HH) | Anspach and Hobday (118 Druid Street, Bermondsey, SE1 2HH) | Southwark Brewing Company (46 Druid Street, SE1 2EZ)
In our eyes it is a no-brainer to take in a couple of craft beers and then complement that with food at the Maltby Street Market (Ropewalk, London SE1 3PA | Website). The traders often change but there is quality food available.
There are two other markets to mention near Bermondsey. First is the Druid Street Market (126 Druid St, Bermondsey, London SE1 2HH | Website) which runs every Saturday and the Canada Water Street Feast at Hawker House (Canada St, London SE16 7PJ | Website). The Street Feat has a Dinerama, warehouse feel with street eats and table tennis. Watch out as it is only open on a Friday and Saturday.
