In our opinion Primrose Hill is a picture perfect little London Village off Regent's Park and the perfect antidote to the hustle and noise of Camden Town.
A day out in the village and in the park are an excellent way to whittle away a weekend day.
Here are our suggestions on the best things to do in the area.
Check Out That Viewpoint
Yes, start off by climbing the hill and checking out the inscriptions and the fabulous view across London. The struggle up there will be worth it.
The Primrose Hill park has a flat area where you can play some boules or petanque. We love grabbing a set and heading down there to surprise your date.
To the Village
Primrose Hill Village is a stunning little place. We love the Primrose Hill Book Shop, Shepherd Foods and Beside the Wave Gallery .
You can also explore some colourful houses along Chalcot Crescent and Chalcot Square, which doubles up as the home of a few famous writers.
A Few Good Pubs Too
It is hard to go wrong when finding a drink in Primrose Hill. The Queens, The Lansdowne and The Princess of Wales are all excellent pubs.
